This is probably a dumb question, but... After clicking the 'Open With' in command in W95 Explorer to associate a file with an application, I want to use another application for this file. How do I 'undo this' in W95? That is how can I change what I have done? I don't see 'Open With' anymore, only 'Open' for that file. This should be simple but I've developed a brain cramp.... Thanks, Bob

Bob: Go into Explorer, click on "View", select "Options", click on "File Types", scroll the list box to find the file type that you made the association for, then highlight it by clicking on it. Then click on "Edit" to pop-up the "Edit File Type" box. In that box, highlight the action (in this case, "Open"), then click on "Remove". Retire the stack of boxes by confirming and you should be all set. If you have any problems, come get me ;^) /dave

Re: -1 Ok, that did it. I was in there at one time but I didn't follow through because I wasn't exactly sure. Thanks Dave, //Bob

Or you can do a SHIFT-Right click to always see "Open with". John |
