2761.1 | Left-handed mouse setting? | OSEC::pervy.mco.dec.com::gilbertb | cyberpaddler | Sat Jan 25 1997 17:26 | 11 |

It sounds like someone or something has swapped over your
mouse buttons. To test this theory, try double-clicking the
right-hand button instead of the left.
If that works as ecpected, it is easy to fix. Call up Control
Panel and then Mouse - you should find an option that sets the
mouse for right-handed or left-handed use.

2761.2 | Me too | CADSYS::GROSS | The bug stops here | Mon Jan 27 1997 10:08 | 7 |
| I see this sort of thing on my PC at home frequently. It comes and goes.
No matter how fast I double click, instead of opening the file it pops
up a menu where the top option is usually "open". I don't think it's the
same as the menu you get by right-clicking. My best guess is that it is
a bug in W95 and you should reboot to restore the double-click functionality.

2761.3 | Happens to me about once a month | PFSVAX::FECICH | There is never enough space for a proper personal message | Tue Jan 28 1997 09:01 | 16 |

It happens occasionally to me, too.... No matter how fast I double
click, the first click opens up a menu, looks like the right button
was clicked instead. I don't know what causes it, but the way I fix it
is:
Right click on a blank space on the desktop, select properties, don't
change anything, click apply and OK. It's a lot quicker than a
reboot...
Maybe a problem with the mouse driver?

I noticed this recently too; it ONLY happened right after starting
the MediaPlayer. Could be a random DLL, could be MP, who knows what
it is.
just a datapoint...
