| speaking of floppies and .cab files, I have a corrupt no 4 disk, and
no one has a copy locally (I am on customer site)...
can somebody give me a pointer to a disk image of the floppy (as well
as the disk util that created it?)
thanks in advance, to find this means no ugly Crusades To Find Somebody
With Win95 Floppies..

1072.8 | don't know if this'll help | SUBSYS::MSOUCY | MentalmETALMike | Fri Feb 28 1997 07:55 | 12 |

I don't know if this will help, but if you can get onto the web, look
for WinImage at www.windows95.com I think under disk utilities. The
.CAB file is on the cdrom (which I am assuming the customer has). I
would think creating a DMF floppy via WinImage and copying the .CAB to
the disk would fix it? But I don't know which of the two cluster sizes
it uses (there are 1024 and 2048 cluster size options in WinImage).
If it doesn't help, sorry....
Mike
