    	I partially installed Pathworks on my laptop ... would this show up
    	as "uninstallable" in the menu?
    
    	I don't have it with me, so I can't check right at the moment.

    If the software registers itself with the registry it *should* be
    uninstallable, but that may also be a feature of the installation(s)
    of software packages. Pay attention to what it tells you if you get the
    uninstallshield or whatever it's called when it goes about asking about
    shared file removal (if you want to do this because *it* detects the
    file is no longer in use, it can come back and haunt you due to
    removing something that shouldn't have been removed since it is a
    shared file and could be used by many other programs).

    	Well, Pathworks doesn't show up in the "remove software" menu in
    	Control Panel.
