hi: One of our VARS ordered three old Ultrix Manuals. They have access to our quoting system E-CON and saw these were available. however when we wanted to place the order we were told only one out of the three is available. The Manuals are: AA-MF06A-TE ULTRIX-32 SUPPLEMENTAL VOL I AA-MF08A-TE ULTRIX-32 SUPPLEMENTAL VOL III AA-ME86B-TE ULT ADVANCED INST GD - ARCHIV---available How can we get These manuals? Are they part of the Online documentation library CD? Why we can't order them anymore? Martin

The Supplementary Documentation will be the hardest to get because there was probably a limited printing. You may not be able to get them because whatever group archives documentation may have run out. Large amounts of it have probably been thrown out over the years as people were layed off and moved around the company. The troff source of most of these documents is available on the kit in the Unsupported Documentation subset. Unfortunately, you'll need something that can produce a useful output from the troff input to print it (ghostscript perhaps). Look around your sales/support office to see if anybody has a copy buried that they haven't used in years. If not, expand the search. I may have a spare copy of one of the books, but shipping cost could be inconvient to my cost center. | |||||
