To see the class type bring up a class in the class editor and look in the
upper right at the Model Type field. (See Figure 6-4 in the PSCP User's
Guide - Define Classes Dialog Box)
30 classes with 10 subclasses Yow!!!! Do you REALLY need this many classes
& subclasses for this particular modeling study???? I can't stress enough
keeping your models as simple as possible for the particular modeling
study. IMHO, the tool works better on simplerer models. While you can
describe the work done on a system down to the nth degree (ie 30 classes &
10 subclasses) are you going to do something in the modeling study with
each and every one of these classes and subclasses??
I expect your problem will stem from a large number of your classes being
closed type classes which causes exponential cpu resources to be consumed
for each closed class. Run this model on a 500mhz Alpha and it will
probably complete in less than a week.
