4308.0. "PW 5.0e server access violates and setextattr errors." by VMSNET::J_FILLERS () Thu May 29 1997 23:35

I have a customer whose server process has crashed 4 times today. He is running
Pathworks 5.0E. Below is a portion of the LMSRV log file showing the access
violation. The customer has probably 50-100 of the exceeds ACE size error.
The only other crash similiar to this had a second access violation in module
PTRMAP. Has anyone seen this one or any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

4308.3Any OS/2 systems?VMSNET::P_NUNEZFri May 30 1997 10:188
    Jim,

    Check if the customer has any OS/2 systems (clients or servers) on the
    network that may have been copying/moving files on the PATHWORKS
    server. I've got a customer having a very similar problem (waiting on
    him to get me version info on os/2 clients before IPMT'ing)...
