4297.0. "How to Move Disks Around???" by GRANPA::BARABIA () Mon May 19 1997 12:05

    Our customer plans on doing some re-configuring of their cluster and
    disk devices that have PATHWORKS shares on them. Mostly he is just
    moving devices from one HSJ or HSC controller to another. No data will
    be moved around. Disk volume labels will remain the same also. He asked
    what considerations PATHWORKS wise needed to be taken into account to
    move the disks around. My understanding is we could do a $ NET SHARE
    /SYNC which would find the existing volume labels and assign it the new
    device name in the SHAREFILE. Is this accurate and if not, what other
    steps need to be taken so we can move the disk devices from one
    controller to another and not have to re-create Shares?

    Thanks for any input.
