4287.0. "ThreadQiow: PW5.0E/e1 error" by VAXRIO::LORENA () Tue May 13 1997 15:31

	Hello all,

Our customer has the following problems since he did the upgrade
the OpenVMS from 5.5-2H4 to V6.2:

	cpu: C57000, a VAX 4000-105A

	1. The PATHWORKS license could not to be stopped and the process
PWRK$LICENSE_S was in RWAST mode until it down. At the log file
we received the following error message:

	[SYSMAINT]>@sys$startup:PWRK$LICENSE_SHUTDOWN
	Stopping PWRK$LICENSE_S with STOP/ID
%PWRK-W-OPINCOMPL, unable to shut down the PWRK$LICENSE_S process
	on C57000

8d8 = mailbox full, when communicating to the netbios process.
Means that license server was communicating lots of info to
netbios and netbios is too slow.

Check the netbios log files, check the network for problems
    with the ethernet adapter.

    Adrie,

I attached the NETBIOS log files, and the network works fine for others
machines with PATHWORKS at the same network, but I solicited for a
    check at his adapter card.
I am waiting for your analysis,
    Thanks for your help,
    Lorena

This means someone shutdown the IP stack (UCX/Multinet/etc) w/o first
    stopping PATHWORKS.

Also, Adrie asked for the NETBIOS log which is
