Customer seeing the following problem: From an NT 3.51 client logs in as a privileged user admin. Connects to a share on the pathworks server and uses the "connect as" option from NT and he puts in a username that has RX Privs only on the share. When this is done on an Alpha server running PATHWORKS V5.0E the users appears to inherit the "admin" account privs which are full privs. They are able to create and delete files as much as they want. Customer and we are assuming that he should be getting the unprivileged user (RX) privs. We have reproduced the problem at the CSC On Alpha only, with V5.0E ECO1. On VAX, it works fine. We haven't seen this reported anywhere before. Input? Thanks, /Mario Hull CSC - Canada

Mario, I haven't seen it, but I'm curious. What does net session show for the various connections? Lew | |||||
