Hi

Customer is running SPAWNER on his PC and when he try to copy, rename,
dir from alpha VMS, he gets the error:

Previously, he was using VAX VMS and the chances of having the above
error was around 10%.

I've increased maximum links of the PC but it still doesn't work.

Is it a supported configuration ? Any suggestions are welcome.

PROBLEM:

The user is running either FAL or SPAWNER on his PC and is trying
to access files which are present.  When trying to copy, delete, etc.,
he gets the error message:

        Insufficient System Resources At Remote Node


SOLUTION:

Need to set his Maximum Links on the PC to a higher number.  The
system allocates links as needed for remote connections.  Items like
virtual printers and virtual disks will subtract from your available
links.  The default at installation is 4.  Have the user raise
this by entering NCP and executing the command:

        NCP>DEFINE EXEC MAX LINKS 6

Then reboot the system.  This should solve the problem.
