Hi,
Are there any maximum number of files that I can create in a shared
directory (ODS2, not FAT)?
Thanks in advance,
Lidia

But be careful, as I've seen performance issues when you have thousands
of files in any one directory. It's a well documented VMS problem when
the .DIR file size gets greater than something like 128 blocks (the dir
entries no longer get cached).
