4129.0. "URGENT! CCS licenses eliminated on 3-FEB-1997" by DELNI::GORCZYCA (PATHWORKS Prod/Bus Mgmt) Tue Jan 28 1997 10:07

Greetings,

As of February 3, 1997, DIGITAL will no longer be selling CCS licenses for
PATHWORKS products. This is a major change that will surprise many customers
since the CCS license remains the most popular way to purchase PATHWORKS client
and server products.

In response to customer and field feedback on our existing PATHWORKS business
practices, we have initiated some changes that we believe will be view very
positively by all. However, any change will also cause some anxiety so it is
important for all of us to understand what is happening, why, and how it will
affect customers.

To get an overview of this change, please see the January 27th Sales Update
article titled:

	DIGITAL PATHWORKS Business Practices Changes

I'll be providing more pointers to more information as the day progresses.

Please help to get the word out by sharing this information with all your
colleagues.

Thanks,
John
