DECwindows Motif V1.2-4 plus latest eco (is that ALPMOTF01_U4012?) running on a DEC 3000-300X, OpenVMS V7.1. Setting are: Clock.Clock.militaryOn: 1 Clock.Clock.audioOn: 1 Clock.Clock.audioDirMask: DECW$EXAMPLES:*.AUD Clock.Clock.alarmPM: 0 Clock.Clock.audioVolume: 81 Clock.Clock.alarmHour: 15 Clock.Clock.analogOn: 1 Clock.Clock.speakerOn: 1 Clock.Clock.digitalOn: 0 Clock.Clock.audioFilename: SYS$COMMON:[SYSHLP.EXAMPLES.DECW]DOG-HOWL.AUD;1 Clock.Clock.bellOn: 1 Clock.Clock.menubarOn: 0 Clock.Clock.dateOn: 1 Clock.Clock.title: Clock Clock.Clock.alarmMinute: 00 Clock.Clock.repeatOn: 1 Clock.Clock.alarmMessage: Clock.Clock.alarmOn: 1 Clock.geometry: 161x191+11+36 I.e. daily 04:00pm play the dog-howl file through internal speaker. This has been working quite a few weeks. This morning however I see error message on the screen so it did not work anymore yesterday (or previous day either) Clock: Information Message Open File Error. Could not open the audio file. Please check the filename or other errors and try again. Needless to say, clicking Alarm, Plat produces the very same message box. Starting another clock and it just works beautifully. I have had this "clock" running now 32 days 20 minutes. So maybe I see this problem again as I now started "new" clock. _veli
