Haven't seen this problem before. V7.1 shipped the R6 DECwindows X server
which would have all the latest bug fixes so you may want to try that server
if possible.
Other than that please enter a problem report.

Try the V6.1-1H3 version, there were line problems fixed in a few
places, I think the S3 was one of them.

| Hello All,
(Fred) is it 6.1-1H3 you proposed to test? As far the customer is willing, is
to upgrade to higher version of OpenVMS. Unless you ment 6.2-1H3 (I am not
aware
to a 6.1-1H3 of OpenVMS). So I guess, OpenVMS V7.1 is the version
he should upgrade. Any way, the customer will check the possibility of any
upgrade, and let us know.
Thanks for now.
Doron.

5780.4 | OpenVMS 6.2-1H3 | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | Doron Angel | Sun Feb 23 1997 08:41 | 14 |
| Hello,
Our customer upgraded the OpenVMS to 6.2-1H3. Some cursor problems disappeared
but yet, from time to time, the Xdrawline command draws "jerky" lines or
distorted.
When the controller replaced to ZLXp, the problem never occured. Obvious, this
is no solution.
Any advice how to continue from here?
Thanks in advance,
Doron Angel

5780.5 | Escalate | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | Doron Angel | Mon Feb 24 1997 18:46 | 11 |
| Hello all,
The problem is still there!!! Should it be escalated??? Due to security
reasons,
the application that causes the problem CAN NOT be exposed (nor it's source
code). Ant suggestions???
Thanks in advance,
Doron.

Yes, especially with DECwindows support moving to EDS next week. EDS
will focus their efforts on customer problems that are reported through
IPMT.
