1021.0. "WNT 4.0 stopping after boot" by TOSSUB::ALESSIO () Tue Mar 18 1997 00:54
Hello,
can i have any help about the following problems?
I am trying to install at a customer site an Alpha Server 1000
with an ATI Mach 64 video board and Windows NT Server 4.0 SP1;
The ARC revision is 4.49, from vers. 3.8 Firmware CDrom, and ECU
vers. 1.9 for Windows NT.
Every things work fine if the system has 192 Megabytes of RAM
installed; trying to work to with 256 Megabytes, the system stops
just after the osloader with the following stop message:
STOP: 0x0000000A
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
.
.
.
An other question is: running the ECU 1.9 and trying to remove an
restore the video board, the utility asks me for a System Configuration
Diskette, that is not available. How can i have it?
Many thank in advance.

1021.1 | Don't config ISA brds on NT 4.0 with ECU | KISMIF::JEMIOLO | | Tue Mar 18 1997 08:54 | 10 |

Do not configure the video with ECU, NT will detect and install the
correct driver. Normally, nothing is configured. unless it's EISA
Never config an ISA on NT with ECU. (Unlike unix).
