| | The error message means that you do not have the video driver installed.
What video adapter are you using in the system? Is it the on-board video?

| | 1. NEVER use the recommended default installation, always select the
       customized one

    2. read carefully all the instruction booklets that come with your
system and the options. Make sure you understand everything.

    3. your system (or video adapter option) should come with a number of
diskettes. One of them is likely to contain the missing file, and will
be asked by the installation procedure. Otherwise, everything is
       somewhere on the net.

| | During the installation, at the scrren where you are asked if the list
represents your current hardware configuration, say no, change the
display driver there, sue the floppy disk that came with your system to
    load the driver.

| 1006.7 | Look in \drvlib on the CD? | BBPBV1::WALLACE | john wallace @ bbp. +44 860 675093 | Fri Feb 21 1997 03:11 | 10 |
| | In many CD distributions of NT, additional drivers can be found in
    \drvlib on the CD.

    Often there's a \drvlib\cirrus\alpha (or is that \drvlib\alpha\cirrus).

That should do instead of a floppy with drivers on it, otherwise the
    instructions are as already stated.

    regards
