237.1 | Let's find out what happened to that platter | DECWET::TRESSEL | Pat Tressel | Fri May 30 1997 18:36 | 26 |
Minoru -- > A migrate in has been requested from platter a1960 , which does not > have a status of JINTERNAL; it may be out of the jukebox or otherwise > altered. This is possibly a bad message. It means that there is a file that has data on platter a1960, but HSM can't use that platter. This can happen (as the message says) if the "state" of the platter is set so HSM is not permitted to use it, or if HSM couldn't find it in the jukebox. The first thing to do is to find out what platters are in the jukebox, and what the states of the platters are. Please ask the customer to do: listm -f and post the results here. Also please ask if they took any platters out of the jukebox. And ask if there are any messages in /usr/efs/jlog or /usr/efs/qrlog that say ERROR or WARNING. Thanks! -- Pat Tressel | |||||
