Hi, a customer has user accounts with uid's < 100. After enabling system root account management in the amd config file, all password entries in /etc/passwd were modified to '*' after a admcheck run and nobody was able to logon. 2nd) Is it possible to manage 2 groups with the same id but different groupnames in AM ? Customer stated that this worked in in V3.2c. He's using FullSail V1.4 on OSF V3.2d-1. Thanks for any help, Joe [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Hi, Sorry for replying so late to your note! Your second question was whether you can manage two groups with the same GID. Well, its not possible with DU_3.2d. The GIDs have to be unique.Pls refer Note 523.1 for more info. As for your first question about the non-ability to log-on after an amdcheck run,I am trying to re-create the problem here.I will get back to you ASAP. Hope this helps, Ashish [email protected] | |||||
