How are you checking a file on your PC's local hard drive from the VAX?
What version of PATHWORKS for OpenVMS are you running? What are the
permissions for that file, both VMS and LAN Manager permissions? Does
using DOS' COPY /B command change the results?

| What I meant by "checking the file from the VAX": from the PC, the file
size (using the file manager) said "0" so I logged in to the VAX and
used OVMS ( $ dir/full) to verify that the file was not modified.
The version of PATHWORKS for OpenVMS is 5.0D. For testing I set the
file to RWED for system, owner, group and world. (I gave it
everything).
How do you check permission on the LAN Manager side?
I'll try COPY /B.
Thanks for your help!!
