Customer cannot save files/create subdirectories on _old_ PATHWORKS server. Permissions look OK to me - only clue is in pcfs_server.log: 21-Apr-97 13:33:33 (Create_Dir) Unit 2840 (1.941): directory create for QDIS$DUA3:[TEST.TEST] failed, errno = 36 Can anyone tell me what errno = 36 means or where I can find out? Thanks, Richard Walker.

If you do $ EXIT 36, you get back: %SYSTEM-F-NOPRIV, insufficient privilege or object protection violation Is it all users on all disks or just one user or just one disk? Perhaps the volume protections (or the protections on 000000.dir) got munged? Paul |
