Can the license components from the V6 client request a new v7.0 license by default if there is no v6 licenses left or do you have to specify the license name to get it.Since v6 licenses were valid for v5 and v6 clients i supposed it also applies to v7 licenses? I

That is not something that the client software has to do. The server software will return a higher version license of the requested type if the requested version is not available. A V7.0 license is good for V7.0 and all previous versions. |
