Hi Folks, A customer asked me if he can install a LAN with Pathworks server and some PC clients using ATM support (ATM pci boards and one ATM concentrator). Is it possible to do this, and which version of Pathworks supports ATM ? Many thanks. Marco.

IF the ATM boards support NDIS 2.0, or NDIS 3.0... the *might* work with PATHWORKS. I do not know of ANY that have been qualified to work with PATHWORKS. However, if they are reported to work with LAN Manager, or Windows for Workgroups , Windows 95, or NT ... then they might. Jeff | |||||

We've tested pathworks running under LAN emulation on the ATMworks 350 and the ATMWworks 351, and it runs fine. Note, you must use LANE, and not classical IP. We've tested NT 4.0 and NT 3.51, but I don't have the pathworks versions handy. doug |
