7344.0. "Pathworks for Windows 95 2 adapters" by VMSNET::FARLOW_J () Fri Feb 28 1997 14:58
I have a customer with a Laptop with a Megahertz PCMCIA adapter using
pathworks 1.0a and windows 95, everything works fine.
The problem begins when they put this PC into a docking station with
it's own IBM ethernet adapter. Since pathworks is bound to the first
adapter it will not see the IBM card. We tried removing pathworks then
reinstalling (SETUP /FORCENEW /FORCECOPY) but it never sets up more
than the first ethernet adapter (megahertz card). If you look under:
START->SETTINGS->Control Panel->network->IBM adapter->properties->bindings
the line for pathworks reads:
PATHWORKS NDIS Support -> Megahertz PCMCIA Adapter
Why would it put information for the Megahertz adapter under the IBM
cards properties?
Can Pathworks support multiple adapters in version 1.0a for windows 95?
What about Pathworks v7.0 (Pathworks 32)?
Thanks in adavance,
Jerry F.
