Hi !
I had mentioned this problem in 7323.5.
One of my customers have PW V5.1 running under DOS/Windows.
They are able to open multiple DWDOS sessions. If they open
multiple windows and keep it idle for sometime, all the windows
start disappearing one by one. The keyboard and mouse becomes
inactive.
The only way is to reboot the machine in most cases and sometimes
restart DWDOS. They have 16MB memory on each system. They are using
Etherworks DEPCA card at Network card.
Cld anybody let me know the problem here..??

Hi, We need more information to analyse the problem. Please remember that support for PW 5.x(DOS/Windows Client) was dropped by digital officially about six months back!, so no fixes will be possible. So try upgrading to PW 6.0 client from the latest kit. And then see if the problem continues. If so provide additional information like the autoexec.bat, config.sys and template (.tpl) file contents ( and DWDOS to reproduce the problem. ) - Bala [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||
