Hello all, Our customer would like to know if the VT320 terminal emulator uses the HLL applications (HLL API) to formatting the text on Windows. They would like to test the OPAL product (CA-Computer Associates) with Digital network environment. Thanks in advance for your attention and help, Lorena/CSC/Rio

For anyone like me who does not know what OPAL does: http://www.cai.com/products/addbm/opal/opal.htm "OPAL is a tool that brings your legacy applications to life by creating exciting multimedia user interfaces which incorporate animation, video, sound, and more." And here is why that customer is asking about "HLL API" support: OPAL requires the following: 486/66 or faster processor 16Mb RAM Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 for authoring tools Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0 for runtime client WinHLLAPI compatible terminal emulation for legacy applications

Everything I can find about WinHLLAPI tends to indicate the it is used with IBM terminal emulators (3270, 5250, AS/400, etc.), not DIGITAL VT320 emulators. From this I would guess that VT320.EXE in PATHWORKS does not support "WinHLLAPI".
