I have a customer who is experiencing problems after adding the PATHWORKS
integration template for WFWG with DECnet. He has an NT server and wfwg
clients
on a token ring, they are using netbeui as there common transport. The
clients
have successful startup and are validated by the NT domain controller.
He then runs the PATHWORKS setup from our V6 eco2 client share and selects the
wfwg with DECnet template. The client passes the net start section, windows
starts
and requests his account information and returns the failure unable to locate
the domain controller, selects ok and cursor turns to hourglass. He can not
regain control back to the gui, reboots.
PC is using IBM isa token ring adapter. NT is Server 3.51, server does not
have
DECnet. DECnet is needed for TE cterm session thru WAN.
I have done the following:
Made netbeui lana:0 tranport.
Used bit-swapped address in protocol.ini
Changed network from pathwrks.drv to wfwnet.
Started client without licensing library and vxd.
Do we add any dllndist settings to the tranport line?
Do we add/set a phase IV prime varible?

the use of a bitswapped address is NOT needed if DECnet Phase IV Prime is in
use. Please post the [Network] and [Keywords] sections of the template in
question.
