7327.1 | What is the cfs. number of the IPMT?? | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | S. Balachandar | Tue Feb 11 1997 00:49 | 16 |

This looks like another case which is about NULLs being
padded into the transfer. Are you using ASCII or BINARY
type of transfer??. If BINARY what is the record format??
Also specify the type of the server node (VMS/ULTRIX)...

What is the cfs. number of the IPMT you are referring to??

7327.2 | CFS 38145 | GIDDAY::ANDREASEND | | Tue Feb 11 1997 20:31 | 12 |
| This case CFS 38145 reported lots of inserted carriage returns whereas my customer
only gets one per file but I would like to try the patched file RFA38145.ZIP anyway.
A case that more closely resembles my customer's problem
is CFS 44392 but this was resolved by engineering placing the
problem in the QAR queue for a future release.
File transfer type is ASCII to a VMS server
Thanks,
Shayne

| Any more news on an updated NFTW.exe or updated RFA_DAP.DLL to correct
the problem of inserted carriage returns on ASCII file transfer from
PC to VMS host?
Thanks,
Shayne

According to some investigation into our QAR database, it seems that
many carriage return type problems were resolved in RFA_DAP.* and
NFTW.exe
versions later than the v6.0.004 and v6.0.005 releases of these
components.
Please use the latest TIMA KIT patches regarding these components since
the fixes propogate forward and are not just isolated to that one CLD.
