7326.0. "Can Pathworks decnet and Tcpip be accessed " by CHEFS::HOWLETT_T (Avoiding the cracks in the pavement) Mon Feb 10 1997 10:12

    My customer has a 486 running WFW 3.1 3com etherlink3 ethernet
He wants to talk DDCMP via the async port and tcp/ip via the ethernet
    card, no routing between.

He is trying to use Using pathworks V6.0 Client (using PWSOCK)
gets memory problem with async driver.

Is this possible by using aspects of the Pathworks product, when all we
really want is decnet phase 4 over ddcmp, and tcp/ip over ethernet
used by a Customer Application will then talk to the separate circuits.

Is there an easier way? or some clear instructions on how to set this
    up?

Should be doable, provided you can fit everything in 640K (is that
the "memory problem" you're alluding to ?). You'll have to be more
specific about the problem your customer is having (which error
message exactly ?).
