Hello, a customer has a problem printing from Windows 3.1 applications to a shared parallel printer via LAT: He has a server Pathworks for Digital UNIX 6.0 client Pathworks for DOS and Windows 6.0 MS DOS 6.2 and Windows 3.1 running on a Penthium 75 Mhz, 8 megbytes RAM and a network card 3Com 590B; the printer is a Brother HL 1260 laser with the driver version 1.0. When he prints a MS Word document for example, the job stays into the queue on the PW server until a sethost or VT320 connection via LAT is done from the client PC to the server, and then it's correctely printed. The LAT.EXE is the PW 6.0 one at the version 6.0.001; can i have an help to solve this problem? Many thanks Pier Giorgio Alessio [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Please try this: LATCP DEF LPT1 ADVERTISE ON and reboot. If the printer's on COM1, or LPT2, type them instead. Tom | |||||
