Hi
A customer is running dxadvfs on several systems without problems but they
cannot start it on two systems, one 8200 and one 4100 running v3.2G and
ASE 1.3.
When they try to start dxadvfs they get
dxadvfs: unable to initilize logging subsystem

Take a look in the /usr/lib/nls/msg directory. I don't have a 3.2x system handy to find out what should actually be there, but if you have systems where dxadvfs does work, see if you can find out what the difference is. --Ken | |||||

Hi Ken, And thank You for the answer. Yes, You where right. One link, POSIX, was missing. We manually created it and dxadvfs started up without problems.
