Since I've been listening to it since January, I thought I should mention
that Rex's album C is truely wonderful. On stage they don't have the
strings (at least I don't remember seeing any) that the album has, but both
live and recorded they are quite nice. The strings make them sound a bit
like The Sonora Pine at times; the general feel is akin to watching sunrise
while pulling an all nighter. They have overtones of Codine (one of their
members used to be in that band), but more pointed delivery akin to Neutral
Milk Hotel with blues.
