RE: -1 I think the option was added with v2.04 of PKZIP.

PS; for NT users, I think you have to put both the -& in double
quotes "-&" to bring it into PKZIP. Apparently the & character has
some special use under NT.

Correct. The ampersand character is a delimiter for multiple commands
on a single command line.
