I had a look to the SPD of 2780/3780 P.E. for Openvms AXP (dated April 97). In the list of the supported processors there is no mention of model 4100: as this machine has 2 or 3 EISA slot where one can fit a DNSES, can I take that this processor is supported? Thanks, giovanni

Giovanni, All machines supporting EISA and turbo (admittedly a bit old now) and Open VMS are supported. There is the intention to qualify the DCS90 with 2780/3780 AXP, which would make 2780/3780 bus independant. I have no date for this yet, but marketing pressure will help to bring this forward. Neil |
