A Customer's SMFS file system is being used for a project's files. They are check pointing or bench marking the procect and want all files in the file system previously to be on seperate MDMS volume(s) than those afterwards. How does one force SMFS to switch from the current MDMS volume to a new free volume? \Thanks in advance for any assistance, David

$ SET FILE /EXTEN=1 MXcu:[dir]file.ext on any file on the old tape will cause that tape to be removed from consideration for future files. - Dan. |
