Hello, one of our customers runs RMU (v6.1-02) backups through SLS, both online and after image journal. When these backups run they seem to lock the database for up to 20 minutes. Is there a way around this problem as the customer system must be available 24 hours a day. If this is the wrong conference please tell me which is the correct one. Thanks, Steve henderson. You should check the RMU qualifiers you are using for the backups to see if they may be related. But, I think that you are saying the database is locked while SLS (RMU) is backing it up. That would be strictly RMU behavior. Sorry, I don't have a pointer to Oracle's RDB notesfile at my fingertips. Marty |
