| I'd recommend to buy a new one. Maybe with another spare connector.
These internal SCSI cables sell for ~$15 thru mailorder. I tried to
attach some additional 50-pin connectors myself with lesser success.
But should be possible too with the right cramping tool and keeping
the required distance between connectors (~0.3m?).

| If in fact the cable would be long enough to reach, and you have access
to a bench vise, it's a fairly simple matter to crimp on an additional
connector (which your local RatShack probably has).
Otherwise take a trip to a ma/pa computer shop (eg: PC Warehouse, etc)
and pick up a 5 position internal cable.

| I have an internal extension cable (purchased at a PC show from a
surplus goods dealer). Works ok. I agree with the reply that suggests
that you get another cable. Much cleaner.

Me thinks there are specs that cover the (minimum) distance between two
adjacent connectors. To not follow them might result in spurious problems
during heavy operations.
