I have tried 4 different versions of the dc21x4.dos driver for windows95 but none of them will get the 21142 network chip working under windows95. The current driver version that I have is dated 7/11/95 and came from http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/~ftp/desktop/celebris/cel_gl6/NGCGL642.EXE I have tried updating the system BIOS, the Ethernet chip BIOS, reinstalling the OS. I know that it is not a hardware problem because I have installed NT4.0 on the same box and the networking works fine. Any hints, clues, anything? A more appropriate conference? Any and all help greatly appreciated. I have spent far to much time on this problem as it is. Jason [email protected] [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]
