2926.0. "Color Temperature of PCXCV-AC" by ARAFAT::ASUNDQVIST (Crashes for nothing, and Dumps for free) Wed Feb 19 1997 12:17

Hi,

I have been trying to find the specifications for the PCXCV-AC 15" monitor that
I got with my Venturis. More specifically, I would like to know the Color
Temperature. So far, no luck (I've tried to locate the info on the external web
as well, looking for ACER 7155L and ACERVIEW 55)

Can someone out there help?

Cheers,
Anders

    Hi Anders,

    PCXCV-AC info is posted in
    http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/pm&d/monitor/afy97q1-g.htm. Start
at http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/ and click on links (chain link icon in the
upper left corner). Then click on desktop pm&d followed by monitors.
Sorry this was not set up in a more prominent place for you.

Info I received from our monitor experts:

    >> The color temperature for the PCXCV-AC is:
    >> x = 0.281 +/-10%
    >> and y = 0.311 +/-10%
    >> This is roughly equivalent to 9300 degrees Kelvin.

Bill,

Thanks for the quick answer, Much appreciated. (Hmm, I guess I really should
be asking what the x and y stands for, but don't bother, I'm satisfied with
the 9300K answer.)

Anders

PS Re: .1
I found that page alreadyt, and it has a lot of interesting info, unfortunately
I can't find anything regarding colour temperature - other than the fact that
the monitor doesn't have "Color Temperature Control"... thanks anyway :-)
