I am looking for a file that is going to help me load my Adaptec driver to my PC. The file name is !ADT001.CFG. I went to the Adaptec web site and did not find anything that resembles this file name. I have a DECpc 433ST and it appears it needs this particular driver according to my Field Service Tech. Thaks, Steve

I ran into similar problems recently. There are some CFG files stored individually on their web site, but most of what you need will be in one of the self-extracting ZIP archives which have extensions of EXE. The one you probably need is ASWC174.EXE, in the Dos/Windows3.1 section (unless you're running Windows 95; if so, look for a file similar to this in that section). If you don't find it I may have a suitable copy on my PC since I have an AHA-1740.

re .0: You didn't look hard enough. It is hiding under the section 'downloadable drivers for the AHA-154xB/C/CF/CP' section. ftp://ftp.adaptec.com/pub/BBS/hardware/!adp0100.cfg You can also copy it from: UTRUST::USERS:[TIMMER.MSDOS.ADAPTEC]ADP0100.CFG Rien.

It can also be found on EZSCSI and EZSCSI Lite distributions if anyone in your group has one. McQ |
