Simms are climbing in price still...a month ago 16Mb EDO 60ns were $54
each, a couple weeks ago were up to $64, as of 5 minutes ago they are
at $73 each for the cheapest price found on www.pricewatch.com. What's
the deal??!

| Price Gouging?
(Rumours of production slow-downs have largely been errant and hearsay.
Many wholesalers/retailers hear these issues and price
gouge 'just in case'...)
The raw price on DRAM chips is still low.

Well, I'll see what they are like at the upcoming show in Salem on the
15th of March. Hopefully by then I will have my tax refund back (Fed.)
and will be looking at picking up a few/several items to put together
the Pentium Clone system (AMD K5 most likely, not interested in Cyrix
due to problems seen here and elsewhere or heard from others...).
