1061.59 | PRINT key | BGSDEV::QUINLAN | Mark Quinlan,NT 3D Graphics Group | Mon Mar 17 1997 13:01 | 8 |
| I've got a problem with the PRINT key on my IBM keyboard. I can
print out my BIOS screens when I hit the PRINT key in the BIOS, but
I can't print out anything using the key when W95 boots. Do I have
a malfunctioning keyboard or it there some setup option I'm missing in
W95 ?
Thanks,
Mark

| The function of the PrintScreen key is application-dependent. Most Windows
apps don't use it, and W95 doesn't do anything with it by default.

| Pressing the print screen key in Win95 places a bitmap of the entire
screen into the clipboard. You can then paste it into the paint
application and print it. Alt-print screen will place a bit map of the
window of the currently active application into the clipboard.
