    Hi,
    
    An internal customer has indicated the need for a near-line data storage 
    strategy for their OpenVMS and Digital UNIX computing environments.  I've 
    been reading up on uses for HSM and Digital's various optical offerings.  
    Although one could posture HSM/RWxxx strategies on each of the separate
    OpenVMS and Digital UNIX environments, a network based near-line
    solution looks more attractive and offers more flexibility. Does Digital 
    offer a network based,near-line, optical solution?
