I'm trying to do an update to FAKE_VM to track dynamic strings better.
I've been looking over the VMS source listings for LIBRTL, and I see
that the string related RTL routines make use of a pre-declared zone
descriptor data structure called "STRING_ZONE". My questions are:
1) How can I obtain the address of this structure?
2) Is this data structure "complete"? ie assuming I can get a pointer
to it, can I feed it to the normal VM routines as a zone descriptor?
Thanks,
Dave

Ahh...
LIB$GET_VM_POINTERS(2) returns the default zone id
LIB$GET_VM_POINTERS(3) returns the string zone id

For some reason I couldn't post the reply I wanted to, kept getting link
exits. MAILed response to Dave instead.
