Is there any more news on this problem?
I have a User Group conference coming in April, as this was a minuted item
from the last meeting I'm sure it will come up again.
The last information I have is that the specific customer for
CFS.44485/HPAL83096 did not return a phone call and so it was presumed
that were not interested in persuing this any futher.
Is it fixed in V7.1?

Sure. This problem does not exist in DECnet-Plus which is the default for
OpenVMS 7.1.

Having now read 5741.5, it looks as though there is a patch and it's
in V7.1.
