Attached below you'll find the DECset T12.2 announcement. Field test
is scheduled to begin on February 24.
If you know of any external sites that may be interested please contact
Pat Mulvey (LEGO::FIELD_TEST) or Cathy Axel (TEAMLK::AXEL).
For internal sites that are interested please watch this note or
note 3 for details on availability. Your feedback during field test

Dear Interested Customer:
The Application Compilers & Environment (ACE) Organization is pleased
to inform you of the DECset T12.2 for OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS VAX field
tests.
The following offers you the information needed to consider either or both
of these products. If you would like to be considered for participation,
please complete and return the attached Pre-Field Test Questionnaire (PFTQ)
as soon as possible.
We expect to receive more requests to field test this product than the
number of sites our developers can support, so we suggest that you
return the completed PFTQ to us as quickly as possible. Please understand
that completing the questionnaire is not a guarantee that you will be
selected to participate in the field test; final site selection will be at
the discretion of the DECset Field Test Team.

DECset T12.2 for OpenVMS Alpha and VAX Field Test Description:

DECset for OpenVMS VAX and OpenVMS Alpha systems is an integrated
programming tool set that supports software developers' coding,
debugging, testing, and maintenance activities.
DECset for OpenVMS systems contains the following components:
o DEC Language-Sensitive Editor/Source Code Analyzer (LSE/SCA
o DEC Test Manager
o DEC Performance and Coverage Analyzer (PCA)
o DEC Code Management System (CMS)
o DEC Module Management System (MMS)
The enhanced version of DECset for OpenVMS (T12.2) will include:
- Support for OpenVMS V7.1
- Support for DECnet Phase V
- CMS:
- Support for set library-wide defaults
(e.g., [NO]CONCURRENT, [NO]KEEP)
- Ability to show generation information based on date
- LSE:
- Support for DEC Fortran 90
