Dear All, Has anyone get the following error message: Cannot obtain database information on this terminal when C2 security is turned on. Before C2 security on Digital UNIX turn on, I was able to connect to the server. BTW, I used DUNIX 4.0B and eXcursion 3.0. Any suggestions? Thanks You Regards, Somnuk

I probably should know this, but I don't. You might try asking in an
appropriate Dunix conference. I'm not sure what kind of extra validation
needs to take place when running C2.

Hi All, I'm manage to make it work now from the help in DUNIX Note conference. Do the following: 1. Add the xdisplay terminal to terminal files /etc/auth/system/ttys or #edauth -s -dt \:*:t_devname=\:*:t_login_timeout#0:t_xdisplay:chkent: 2 Add xdisplay type to /etc/auth/system/devassign or #edauth -s -dt *\:*:v_type=xdisplay:chkent: Regards, Somnuk | |||||
