Hallo,
a customer has a german keyboard LK471-AG and wants to use it
under Excursion V3 and NT 4.0 on his Alpha.
Is there any way he can define this keyboard or any keyboard
layout, he can use to get it running.
Within Excursion Setup the only keyboards to select are
LK411, LK450 and Standard PC keyboards.
Can he select any of these and make some minor changes to
Key-Definition files ?
thanks for any hint

I suspect that the LK411 layout file would work fine with the 471.
(I doubt that there are many differences between it and the 461.)
If the problem is that the special keys don't work at all make sure the
customer has installed the keyboard layout files for NT 4.
I looked at http://nuages.sbu.vbe.dec.com/ and it looks as though there
are no German LK411/461 files for Alpha yet. The Beta 4 kit for Intel
mentions German, but the Alpha kit doesn't. I suggest you take a look
at that page and try the Beta 4 kit for Alpha. If doensn't work for the
German keyboard, send mail to Marc. (There's a pointer a the bottom of
the page.)
