3241.0. "Oracle Reports not Panning down." by RHETT::BERRY () Tue Feb 25 1997 16:45
Hi,
Has anbody had a problem with Excursion 2.1 and Oracle not panning?
Basically, he runs the excursion to a VMS server. He displays a
DECTERM. If he moves the mouse, the window pans. However, if he
starts Oracle Reports, selects file, it scrolls down past the bottom
of the screen, and he cannot access the lower items. The screen jumps
but does not pan.
Any ideas?

| Never heard of it, but be aware that in general Oracle products want to have
mwm wrapped around them. But if the problem is one of screen real estate
running mwm certainly isn't going to help with panning.

| For what it's worth, this one was a simple case of trying to pan off the bottom
when the Win95 task bar is on the bottom of the screen and set for "Always on top."
It won't pan in that case.
