This is likely a silly mistake that I'm just overlooking...but here goes: I copied the cms client kit T12_ANT.ZIP to my OpenVMS machine. I used decnet, and the DCL COPY command (this could be my mistake?). Next I used ftp (in binary mode) to move the kit to my Alpha NT machine. Then I unzipped it. No problems apparent yet... Now, I double click on Setup.exe and it begins running but asks me to insert Disk1 into drive A. Uh Oh. What have I done wrong? Thanks in advance, Meg Garrison P.S. I'm running Alpha Windows NT v4.0 build 1381.

Nothing, but I think the Alpha and 16-bit kits insist on being installed from a floppy (don't know why). Try copying the files to a disk and installing from there. Let me know how you get on, I haven't run the Client on Alpha NT 4.0 yet. -Paul |
